Mundhir ibn Jarir reported:
The Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: He who sets a good precedent in Islam, there is a reward for him for this (act of goodness) and reward of that also who acted according to it subsequently, without any deduction from their rewards; and he who sets in Islam an evil precedent, there is upon him the burden of that, and the burden of him also who acted upon it subsequently, without any deduction from their burden.
Narrated Abdullah bin Mas`udThe Prophet peace be upon him recited SuratanNajm at Mecca and prostrated while reciting it and those who were with him did the same except an old man who took a handful of small stones or earth and lifted it to his forehead and said, quotThis is sufficient for me.quot Later on, I saw him killed as a nonbeliever.

Narrated Ibn Mas`ud radiallahu anhuAllahaposs Messenger peace be upon him said, quotThe call for prayer Adhan of Bilal should not stop anyone of you from taking his Suhur for he pronounces the Adhan in order that whoever among you is praying the night prayer, may return to eat his Suhur and whoever among you is sleeping, may get up, for it is not yet dawn when it is like this.quot
