It was organized in the town of Madan in the southern province of Smolyan by the Quran and Sunnah International Association affiliated to the Muslim World League in cooperation with the town’s Abu Ayub Ansari Institute.

Memorizers who have graduated from Quran memorization courses of the institute were honored at the ceremony.

Bulgaria’s Grand Mufti Mustafa Hadzhi and a number of other senior Muslim figures of the country were present at the event.

Speakers at the ceremony underlined the virtues of memorizing the Quran and called for more such programs to encourage learning the Quran.

They also urged the Quran memorizers to act upon the teachings of the Quran in their life.

The Quran memorizers received certificates and awards at the end of the ceremony.
