The Surat an-Nur says:
‘’Have you not seen how Allah propels the clouds, then brings them together, then piles them into a heap, and you see rain drops emerging from its midst?’’(Verse 43)
In the past, people have read this verse without attention. But in reality science has revealed that it is the mother of the truths in the existence. This is because the addition of clouds means the merging of clouds which have different charges. There is no doubt that there is a charge in the cloud. The scientist Franklin discovered this in 1752.
It is well known that opposite charges attract one another, and that identical charges run away from each other. It is actually dispersion of the clouds. But the wind brings them closer together. Then the cloud becomes enlarged, and the wind from the ground carries positive charges and they combine with the existing charges in space, cause the vapor to be into water droplets. Finally, it rains. The main cause of rain is the electrical charge in the air. These charges are joined by the wind. This event is described in the Qur'an:
‘’ We send the fertilizing winds; and send down water from the sky, and give it to you to drink, and you are not the ones who store it.’’(Surat al-Hijr verse 22)
