On January 7, 2020 in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, the 44th round meeting of the Supreme Council of the World Islamic Union began. The press service of the Committee on Religious Affairs reported.
The scholars, muftis, statesmen and religious leaders, as well as heads of international Islamic organizations are taking part in the conference.
The chairman of the Muslim Board of Uzbekistan, mufti Usmonkhan Alimov and head of the international relations department of the Committee on Religious Affairs Muzaffar Jalilov are attending the meeting.
The main purpose of the meeting is to ensure peace in the countries of the world, fight against any form of disorderly conduct and suppress the actions of the black forces that threaten the peaceful life of peoples.
Within the framework of the conference, the International Academy of Islamic Fiqh in Medina, Saudi Arabia, was got the high reward for its services in preparing fatwas, finding optimal solutions to Shari'a issues, and addressing contemporary issues.
It is worth noting, deputy director of Uzbekistan Islamic Civilization Center, Sheikh Abdulaziz Mansur is a permanent member of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy.
