It is well-known that the scriptures and hadiths about the dignity of parents, the rights on their child, are the highest teachings in the history of the world. In particular, history saw the deep respect and dedication of Muslims to their parents.
Allah Almighty says in Surah Luqman:
'We have entrusted the human being with the care of his parents. His mother carried him through hardship upon hardship, weaning him in two years. So give thanks to Me, and to your parents. To Me is the destination.' (Verse 14)
This ayah states that honoring parents is a command from Allah for every persona.
Abu Hurairah radhiallahu anhu narrated that The Messenger of Allah peace be upon him said, “A son cannot ever repay his parents what he owes them, unless he finds them in slavery, then buys them and emancipates them.”
If a father or mother is a slave in the hands of another and the child acquires them from their owner and freed them from slavery, then this right will be fulfilled.
