The Quran is the Holy Book of Allah Almighty to humanity. Our Lord revealed Quran to our beloved Prophet Muhammad (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) so that we could read it and meditate on it and live a good life for many years. It is the most perfect and last of the books. It is the happiness that is bestowed only to the Ummah of Muhammad (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) among all the Ummah.
The Holy Quran describes everything that a person needs to know for the happiness of the two worlds. It is the Divine Book, which guides to the right path, warns against misguidance, rebukes the haram, and completes the beautuful destiny of the Hereafter, and enlightens the faces on the Day of Judgment.
Allah Almighty says about Quran:
“This Quran guides to what is most upright; and it gives good news to the believers who do good deeds, that they will have a great reward.” (Surah al-Isra verse 9)
The Holy Quran is the Word of Allah Almighty. It is the Furqan (the Criterion) which teaches us how to live a beautiful life as a human in this ephemeral world, and gives us a place in that eternal world called Jannah. There is no doubt in it.
Allah Almighty warns:
“This is the Book in which there is no doubt, a guide for the righteous.” (Surah al-Baqarah vere 2)
It is the most perfect and last Divine Book that our Lord has given, and it is a great blessing for mankind. But some have memorized seven or eight surah or more to pray then say 'we know about Quran'. Or some will put it in the house, and they have neither the desire nor the incentive to read and recite it. Is such an action really true? Absolutely not! As we read and recite the Quran, we still do not know the blessings and rewards.
