Everyone, no matter who they are, will one day get old. But there is a difference between aging and aging. The best aging is to live in goodness and to do goodness. If a person recognizes the Lord who created him and follows what He has said, his old age will be the best and most beautiful. His old age will lead to happiness.
Abdullah bin Busr narrated:
"O Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace)! Who is the best of the people?" He said: "He whose life is long and his deeds are good."
Who is the best of all people in the world? There may be many good ones among them. But who is the best of the good? The Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) answered this short and ripe question very briefly and with maturity.
Longevity is a factor in the well-being of people. The condition for longevity people is that their actions must be good. And the beauty of action is that it comes from practicing the religion of Allah and following it.
Narrated Amr bin Abasah:
That the Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever develops some gray hair in the cause of Allah, it shall be a light for him in the Day of Judgement.
It is a great happiness for everyone to have a hair that bleaches in the path of Allah. Because that hair bleached in the way of Allah and in Islam. Such a man's hair and beard, walking in the way of Allah and worshiping Him, has been a blessing to all beings - human beings, wildlife, flora and fauna. That is why every fiber that bleaches in Islam is a light on the Day of Judgment.
