Abdullah bin Busr narrated:
"O Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace)! Who is the best of the people?" He said: "He whose life is long and his deeds are good."
Who is the best of all people in the world? There may be many good ones among them. But who is the best of the good? The Prophet (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) answered this short question very briefly and clearly.
Longevity is a factor in the well-being of people. The condition for longevity people is that their deeds must be good. And the beauty of deed is that it comes from following the religion of Allah.
Narrated Amr bin Abasah:
That the Messenger of Allah (May Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever develops some gray hair in the cause of Allah, it shall be a light for him in the Day of Judgement.
It is a great happiness for everyone to have a hair that bleaches in the path of Allah. Since that hair bleached in the way of Allah and in Islam. Such a man's hair and beard, walking in the way of Allah and worshiping Him, has been a blessing to all beings - human beings, wildlife, flora and fauna.
