With the name of Allah, The Most Gracious, The Ever Merciful.
All type of perfect and true praise belongs to Allah alone, The Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and all his family and companions.
Allah Almighty says in the Quran that means : "The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and The Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the rightly guided." (Surah at-Tawbah, 18) English Al Quran Sahih International.
In the traditions of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him we can find the story of a woman who cleaned and picked up rubbish in the mosque. Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him did not learn of her death until he did not notice her, so he inquired about her. He said to his companions, “If one of you dies inform me!” He then prayed the funeral prayer for her and said, “I saw her in Paradise! She was rewarded for cleaning the mosque.” Saheeh Bukhari, Saheeh Muslim
It was narrated that Aaishah radhiallahu anho said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded that mosques should be built among the houses in each neighbourhood, and that they should be cleaned and perfumed." (narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 594; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb wal-Tarheeb, 279).
The Blessed Prophet peace be upon him said, "Whoever removes adhaa (anything repulsive or harmful) from the Masjid, Allah will make a house for him in the Jannah." (Ibn Majah)
"Spitting in the Masjid is a sin and its expiation is clean it." When the prophet peace be upon him saw a spit in the Masjid, he used to remove it with a stone. The companions of the Prophet peace be upon him used to keep the Masjid clean. Imam Abu Dawud reported that Abdullah bin Omar radhiallahu anhu used to put perfume inside the Masjid when Omar radhiallahu anhu sat on the Minbar to deliver Friday speech.
On social media "Daily Mail" reported that: "Liverpool's star Sadio Mane helps clean his local mosque in latest act of dedication to his Muslim faith"

Taking care of the Masjid is a praiseworthy act for which one will be rewarded. To take care of a Masjid and its affairs is a sign of strong and healthy Iman.May Allah reward the ones who take care and clean the mosques.
Praise be to Allah The Lord of the Worlds, and blessings and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him and all his family and companions.
